Abstract

An employee profiling system was proposed for TGI FRIDAYS, which is an American restaurant and bar that is located at Fairview Terraces, Fairview, Quezon City. The employee profiling system was created used to expand the availability of access to this valuable information and other useful data in the system and databases. An employee profiling system is a distributed application that can help TGI FRIDAYS. The system can maintain the personal details of their employees in their organization. The employee profiling system is appropriate for employees, managers, and departmental and organizational staff. The method that the researchers used was SMART (specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, and timely) analysis. In the specific aspect, this is where the researchers clearly defined what is their topic. In the measurable aspect, this is where the researchers will have a criterion that will measure their progress toward the accomplishment of their goal. In the achievable aspect, this is where the researchers will surely attain their goal. In the realistic aspect, this is where the researchers will be realistic and relevant to the purpose. In the timely aspect, this is where the researchers clearly defined the timeline, including a starting date and a target date. The proposed system had a login form where the admin must enter the username and password of its specific account. The system had three attempts. After logging in to the account, it will be placed in the audit trail form where the admin can identify who is using the system. The registration form was a typical form that should be filled up with necessary information about the user or admin. The mainframe form was divided into two parts, that is, the home and menu modules. In the home module, this is where the admin can see the accounts, settings, and help buttons. In the account setting, the admin can see the accounts created inside the system. It showed the add, update, and delete buttons. In the help section, the admin can see the user manual of the system. In the menu module, this is where you can find the information or details of the employees held. The proposed employee profiling system helped TGI FRIDAYS in recording and organizing the information of their employees. The researchers focused on storing and updating the employees’ data. The information was stored in a database that can be updated, which made the information secure. The system can easily add an employee’s information, update, and search. The system cannot be easily accessed by a person who is not familiar to use the system.
