computerized system, scheduling system

At present, computerized system is spreading in our society, and computerize system help us to finish our work fast and be more productive. It also helps in our daily lives. Hence, the researchers proposed a system to resolve the problems of Villagers Montessori College, which is located at 18 Dalsol Street, Barangay Sangandaan, 1106, Quezon City. Villagers Montessori College has 37 teachers, that is, 15 senior high school teachers and 22 college teachers, with 2 teachers working part-time, and 35 teachers working full-time. Villagers Montessori College has 27 sections and 27 rooms and uses a Microsoft Excel sheet for the schedule of the employee. First, the management plans it on paper, and they check the availability of the teacher at that time;if the teacher is available, then they make the schedules one by one. The researchers used the systems development life cycle (SDLC) Water Fall model; it is a framework that defines tasks performed at each step in the software development process. SDLC is structured followed by a development theme within a software. The researchers used SDLC as a methodology because the SDLC model had a process to make the system step by step and have the guidelines in making the system. The researchers observed and interviewed to gather data and analyze the problems. Villagers Montessori College is having a problem with making schedules when using Microsoft Excel because they plotting it manually and uses trial-and-error. Thus, the researchers proposed a scheduling system to help the school administrator, school, and teachers to easily create and update schedules by the school admin. The scheduling system can add and update schedules, employee information, sections, accounts, as well as print the schedules of the teachers easily. It can also print the list of subjects and the login history when the user uses it. It can search also for information easily. The researchers’ scheduling system has a considerable advancement compared with the old system because it has a considerable impact when creating the schedule of the teachers. The researchers discussed the objectives and deliverables to the problem encounter in the old system. The user and the researchers discussed the advantage of the proposed system to the old system.
