Abstract

The Eventurer’s is a company that is composed of five young entrepreneurs whose collaborative ideas have been assigned and merged to create a business proposal by sharing off different knowledge and experience in their business management subject because they believe that they can provide a good and quality service to the clients. The researchers also have the same passion and interest in this field that can help the company to become successful. The researchers conceptualized “The Eventurer’s” (name of the business) by sharing different ideas and suggestions. The proposed location is Teacher’s Village, East Maginhawa St. Diliman, Quezon City. The projected initial capital for the business is approximately ₱1,000,000, which includes office equipment. The name of the business, that is, “The Eventurers,” is a combination of words “event” and “adventure.” The main target of the company are employees at Quezon City Hall, residents of Teacher’s Village, and schools and students for their programs and activities. The proponents found that the feasibility study will become successful with the guide and validated information provided by 50 respondents who were chosen through random sampling. The proponents conducted a field survey at Teacher’s Village, East Maginhawa St., Diliman, Quezon City. At first, proponents brainstormed on what business to be established. A set of questionnaires was distributed as instruments for further assessments on the feasibility of establishing the business. The study was conducted among 50 respondents to determine customer’s preferences. These preferences include customers’ habits, sex, age, occupation, and civil status. This allowed a better understanding of whether these preferences differed among the category of customers. The survey also indicated that 50% of the respondents experienced attending event two times because of family gatherings, birthday celebrations, etc. Meanwhile, 40% of the respondent did not respond. The capital is ₱1,000,000.00. The owners allocated a budget for ₱560,000 for office rental and ₱200,000 for renovation. Additional machinery and equipment were worth ₱50,350, additional office supplies were worth ₱3,526, additional sanitary supplies were worth ₱2,350, and additional furniture and fixture were worth ₱16,200. The business accrued ₱27,200 for advertising expenses. The owners reserved ₱16,117.00 for the annual electricity bill, ₱96,000 for the water bill, and ₱23,988 for the Wi-Fi connection. Hence, The Eventurer’s is feasible and viable to the market.
