Modern office equipment plays a significant role in office operations and benefits both the
employees and the company. These are essential components of the company on which they
can rely for a long time if managed properly. These equipment and machines not only
increase the production process but also increase efficiency in the workplace because more
work can be done with less effort while achieving a greater result. However, with respect to its
positive effect on the employees and the company, there are still some challenges and factors
that need to be taken into consideration. The purpose of this study is to identify the modern
office equipment used in the two (2) companies in Quezon City and how it impacts the
employee’s work performance. To create a manual on how to properly use and maintain
modern office equipment as a useful tool in enhancing its effectiveness in the company.

The results of the study reveal that modern office equipment such as desktop computers,
printers, scanners, storage devices, laptops, and routers boost the efficiency of employees
and aid them in performing their daily duties. Based on the responses, modern office
equipment makes a major contribution to companies in terms of accuracy, competence,
productivity, time management, and labor-saving.

Based on the results, the researchers recommend that both companies should provide free
training to their employees who are unfamiliar with using modern office equipment,
incorporate short breaks for their employees to refresh or clear their minds, invest in high-
quality office equipment or machines to prevent unforeseen equipment failures, and
implement an office maintenance checklist on a daily, weekly, or monthly schedule to ensure
that the equipment remains in excellent condition so that the employees can continue working
without interruption.
