Abstract

Survey says laundry business is one of the top trending businesses to establish nowadays. The laundry business begins in Fort Worth, Texas during the Great Depression. The first Laundromat, which was known at the time as a “Wash-a-teria,” opened in the 1930s. In today’s world, as new technologies and developments arise, more and more washing machines and dryers are available in the market, but these technologies are very expensive and can consume considerable time and effort. Hence, the researchers decided to establish a laundry business. The researchers chose the location at Block 10 Lot 7, Soliven Street Litex, Barangay Commonwealth, Quezon City. The researchers formulated a set of questionnaires that included the demographic profile of the respondents. The data gathered will serve as guides in establishing the business. This study employed the descriptive-comparative research design of the feasibility study. The researchers surveyed random people. The main instrument of the study was a survey questionnaire with a focus on marketing mix. An ocular visit was conducted to ensure the viability and accessibility of the location to the target market. The study of the business showed a positive result that the company will boom in the market according to the survey. The results of the survey showed that the laundry business is imminent in the market. Based on the survey conducted, the majority of the respondents were female. Most of the respondents who avail of the services are working individuals instead of students and unemployed people. A loyal customer can also help promote the business through a recommendation to their family and friends. The low price of services was the most favored by clients. A good location can generate sales and create brand loyalty. According to the respondents, social media is the best tool to promote the business. The researchers proved that the laundry business is one of the best businesses to establish nowadays. Promotion and other marketing strategies have a considerable impact on the business to be well-known in the industry and attract more customers, as well as give the clients a good service at an affordable price. Maximizing the resources and minimizing all the possible problems that may come in the future. Giving good quality service and ensuring the satisfaction of the clients are all our daily goals. The business will also be successful because of many residences and establishments that need the laundry service in the area.
