Abstract

In today’s complex, many people question talent on how students and researchers aim to understand the relationship between “talent” and “success.” The researchers hope to develop the talent and skills of the students as they aim in the talent center. A talent center is an organization that involves sourcing, developing, promoting, and assisting students to hone their talents. Talent is the most important factor that drives an organization and takes it to a high level. An organization can attain goals based on achieving competitive advantage. The researchers conducted this study to determine the benefits of being a member of the talent center. Quantitative research was used to measure variables by using the numerical system and analyze measurements by using a variety of statistical models. Descriptive research was used to describe the characteristics of a population being studied. Purposive sampling was utilized to select the 50Grade 12 Performing Arts students. The results of the study showed that benefits were treated as a member of the talent center, with the weighted means of 4.46 for male respondents and 4.33 for female respondents, both of which strongly agreed that improved skills are one of the benefits of being a member of the talent center. Meanwhile, the weighted means for male and female respondents were 3.74 and 3.92, respectively, both of which strongly agreed that time management is one of the benefits of being a member of the talent center. The weighted means for male and female respondents were 4.34 and 4.46, respectively, both of which strongly agreed that self-confidence is one of the benefits of being a member of the talent center. The overall weighted means for male and female respondents were 4.18 and 4.23, respectively, both of which strongly agreed that improved skills, acquired time management, and building self-confidence are the benefits of being a member of the talent center. The researchers recommended that a member of the talent center should build self-confidence, practice hard to minimize self-doubt, must be flexible, always have a good attitude toward others, and accept failures. The students’ skills should also be improved to focus on more techniques and new ideas, improve their talents and abilities to perform well, develop the right skills, and provide coaches and mentors for support. In terms of time management skills, students should know how to prioritizes, always be role models, and seek further toward the improvements of the study.
