Abstract

Bestlink College of The Philippines is one of the largest private colleges in the Philippines. This school provides a manual admission process that is prone to human error and lacks features, thereby possibly resulting in misleading information. The researchers decided to create a computerized admission system to provide a more advanced system that will surely help the process consume less time, with the security features and features that will help avoid the human error of the admission process, followed by the introduction in which the researchers used SDLC. Tasks were planned, and an appropriate topic to discuss was selected. Then, data were gathered through interviews, the designs for the system and research were chosen, and the system was tested to determine if it works with their hardware and software and implemented using direct conversion by eliminating the old system. Lastly, the following recommendations were maintained, and improvements were asked. With all the data gathered and analyzed, 9/10 respondents approved to have a computerized admission system. The responses showed that the manual admission system needs changes and improvement. Hence, the researchers conducted this study to minimize problems encountered in the current system. However, this system does not ensure to have all features the best system will have.
