asset monitoring system at JMAC refrigerator and air-conditioning services

Abstract

The asset monitoring system is any process that a company or organization uses to keep track of the equipment and inventory vital to the day-to-day operation of their businesses. However, how these assets are managed is highly variable. The JMAC Refrigerator and Air-Conditioning Services were created in 2014 and still exists until now, and the name of the owner of the company is Chiong. The company is located at Camarin, Caloocan City. The system that the researchers created was an asset monitoring system. This system is used to help the company easily monitor assets and stock products. The proponents used the systems development life cycle in developing the system. As the proponent’s approach and methodology, the asset monitoring system flows in seven processes. After deciding which system, the researchers analyzed how it will process. The researchers sought a client; they created plans and timelines for the proposed system. The researchers surveyed the target client and collected all the data needed by the system project. After planning for the system, the researchers proceeded in creating a system. They also started to apply codes for functionality. The researchers developed the following deliverables: (1) login form, which is only for the administrators or users of the company to secure all the data collected in the inventory system; (2) registration form, which is for the administrators or users who monitor the stocks in the JMAC Company; (3) home frame, which is the main form of the stocks (contains the customer’s list, product list, the history of orders, and the checkout tab and also connected to the other forms such as add product, update product, delete a product, add supplier, update supplier, and delete supplier forms); (4) update product form, which is used to edit and automatically update the products entered by the user or admin and if they want to change the description or price; and (5) delete product form. The asset monitoring system will create an easier and convenient way to help businessmen or owners of the company to improve their business. The primary purpose of an asset monitoring system is to keep an accurate record of stock supplies. This system also helps how they can monitor their stocked products and assist them to easily search all the information, products, prices needed, and all the sections in a short time.
