Abstract

A banquet is a large meal or feast, complete with main courses and desserts. It generally serves a purpose of handling events, such as charitable gathering, a ceremony, or a celebration, and is often preceded or followed by speeches in honor of someone. A banquet is a large catering activity where foods and beverages are served for a pre-arranged number of people on a pre-fixed date and time, with an agreed menu and price. Through the use of the agile scrum methodology, the development team started the research by conducting interviews and determining the needs and wants of the product owner that will be incorporated in the development of the wants of the proposed CORE system. The project as a whole was divided into sprints wherein the development team is required to accomplished every sprint based on the given time frame up to the completion of the whole project. The research conducted by the development team identified the scope and limitations of the banquet system and the problems of the company. Hence, the researchers created a system that will help monitor the raw materials and products. To provide this kind of service, the developers will give a system that is related to the business process of their organization. The developers will also provide a system that will have high security to avoid intruders and leakage of information and follow the Data Privacy Act that is required to secure the personal data of any user. The developers will also integrate the system to pass and receive data from another subsystem. Based on the results, the proponents showed the possibilities of creating a system that will help innovate young aspiring innovators. The use of a cloud-based system will reform the IT industry and upgrade students in innovating simple ideas into a finer community.
