Vital Equipment in Establishing Computer Shop

Abstract

The project study is about determining the vital equipment in establishing a computer shop, which is also known as an Internet café or cybercafé. This type of business provides Internet access to the public. Determining the appropriate equipment in a computer shop is important to operate the business successfully. The main thrust of our project was to give recommendations on what to use and purchase vital equipment to establish an Internet shop. The group gathered data from brochures, magazines, flyers, and Internet, which served as a fact-finding tool to find out the prices and appropriate devices and equipment needed to establish an Internet shop. We relied on feedback from various Internet shop owners. The result of this study showed that the project study served as a guide when purchasing equipment and lessening the cost of each computer component. We also organized a step-by-step process in setting up a PC. Technology has a high demand in our society. Information technology provides help to those who need it. Our project provided information with the use of technology and served as the basis for selecting the appropriate equipment to establish an Internet shop.
