Abstract

This research focused on how a DIY organizer that was made out of recyclable materials affects a student. The study shows one of the solutions to lessen the waste and the benefits of the product for the student and school. The rationale of our action research is to offer other way to benefit recyclable materials not only in nature but also in the study of students, often with tools, documents, and any file of students in Bestlink College of the Philippines are placed any place of the faculty or department. There are many things they do. Thus, the DIY organizer that was made of recyclable materials can help the students and also all the departments to make their things presentable and organized. A qualitative method was used in this study as the descriptive research design. This study involved 50 selected respondents from Grade 12 ABM students. Four variables were considered, that is, the effect, benefit, in what way students need a DIY organizer, and why students need a DIY organizer. Making your own organizer requires time and effort. Many people waste money to buy brand new organizer, but a DIY organizer gives you a chance to make your own design and manage your money, at the same time help the environment. The study revealed that proper waste disposal can be a huge help to the environment. The study also showed that if the students will learn how to recycle, then they will save money, become more creative, and manage their things with the use of the DIY organizer they made.
