Abstract

This research focused on what is the perception of grade 12 Accountancy, Business, and Management (ABM) students in putting a net in every drainage to control garbage and prevent a flood. The study revealed how students care for our environment and if they have an idea on how we can prevent or at least lessen the chance of flooding happening in our community. The researchers surveyed to know if the students still acknowledge anything about our environment. A qualitative method was used in this study by using the descriptive research design. This study involved 50 selected grade 12 ABM students. Four main questions were answered by this action plan. A qualitative method was used to elaborate on what the study was about. Most of the respondents agreed that our action research can help our environment in using a net to easily collect and trap the garbage that can cause a flood if it has been neglected to flow into drainage. The study revealed that the net is extremely useful in lessening the cases of flooding in our community, but we should not only rely on putting a net to reduce flood cases in our community. We should also be responsible for our environment, especially for our wastes.
