Registration and Sectioning Management System for Leandro V. Locsin Senior High School

Abstract

The researchers proposed a registration and sectioning management system for the client to make their work easier. When the client cannot handle the work, the researchers help solve their problems. The researchers developed the system to implement it for the client. The problems of the client included an unorganized section, lack of security, and inconsistent data. The researchers used systems development life cycle process to build projects and complete meaning. In the planning stage, the researchers created a survey questionnaire for the client and evaluated the client’s problem provided to them. In the analysis stage, the researchers analyzed the admission process of the school and important school requirements. In the design stage, the researchers used different diagrams such as ERD, flow chart, and use case. In the development stage, the researchers applied the requirements needed for the system. In the installing stage, the system was installed on the client’s system. The researchers must have a duplicate copy of a file. In the testing stage, the researchers tested all the features and ensured the absence of errors. If the system will not succeed or present a slight error, then the researchers will come back the next day to fix their system. In the implementation stage, the researchers implemented the system by installing their devices. In the maintenance stage, the researchers made sure to update the system if necessary. The problem of the client is a result of the processes. The researchers overcame the problems, thereby achieving their goals to help Leandro V. Locsin Senior High School regarding their problems of unmonitored student requirements and data loss. The researchers developed the following deliverables. (1) Registration is a form that is used to add and save an account for the student. (2) Sign up is a form from an admin account that saves an account for a user or an employee. (3) Generate report contains updating student record exporting to excel printing table record. (4) Admin settings can change the password of the admin account. (5) The login form is for the security of the system. The developed registration and sectioning management system will manage and provide students with new technology in handling the enrollees and activities carried by the school after the admission of the enrollees. The solution to the client’s problems made the researchers capable of countering the problems.
