Factors Influencing Employees Productivity of Senior High School Teachers in Bestlink College of the Philippines

Abstract

The productivity of the teachers plays a vital role in the student's overall performance because
the productivity will give more knowledge and will enhance the skills and capabilities of the
students as well. When this productivity increases, teachers and students will benefit not only
from this but also from the Bestlink College of the Philippines’ management, and this will drive
the organization’s success. The purpose of this study is to determine the factors that influence
employees’ productivity in the chosen locale, which is the Bestlink College of the Philippines,
because of the importance of its contribution to the work productivity and engagement of
Senior High School Teachers in the Institution that will lead to employees’ job satisfaction and
the management will enhance its programs for the employees for them to provide best service
to the students and making the organization’s mission and vision possible.

The results of the study showed that the most important factor that influences employees’
productivity is the work environment, with a mean of 3.11, followed by leadership style, which
got a mean of 2.93, and lastly is the organizational culture, which got a mean of 2.91.

Researchers recommend that in order to address the employee's productivity, as concluded
that the work environment is the factor that influences the most, Bestlink College of the
Philippines’ management should provide facilities, improve the workspace quality, and create
a good ambiance to boost their mood and enthusiasm. In terms of leadership style, it was
concluded that the second most important factor that influences management and
administrators should be supporting and motivating employees in all aspects. In terms of
organizational culture, the management should maintain the commitment between the
employees and the organization, promote unity and diversity, and make employees part of the
organization. And lastly, the researchers proposed an action plan to enhance the Employees’
productivity of Senior High School teachers at Bestlink College of the Philippines.
