Viability of Malunggay Enhanced Bibingka among Grade 12 HE Students and Teachers in Bestlink College of the Philippines

We used Moringa oleiferaor also known as malunggay as a twist in bibingka. We made a product that is new in the market. We made this product because it is a unique style of food and has many nutrients that are good for our body. It will surely have many buyers because it is a new and unique product compared with ordinary bibingka. One of the reasons why we chose this kind of product is to help people, especially kids who do not want to eat vegetables. The main purpose of this product is to become an interesting food for people. Malunggay is known as the “miracle tree” or “nature’s medicine cabinet.” All the parts of the malunggay tree, such as leaves, pods, flowers, fruits, barks, and roots, can be used. Malunggay leaves can help people with diabetes in lowering their blood sugar levels and help them lower the risk of a stroke and heart attack. Antioxidants are compounds that help fight free radicals in our bodies. The methods that researchers used in conducting the survey were giving survey questionnaires and having a free tasting of the product.A survey is one of the easiest ways to gather information and opinions from the target market. The researchers chose60 people to answer the questionnaire. The researchers found out that 72% of the respondents want to eat malunggay bibingka because of its good taste and possible benefits in the product. A total of 58% of the respondents said that the price of our product, which is P15 per piece, is affordable. Based on the information gathered by the researchers, the respondents wanted to eat malunggay bibingka because of its unique taste. Based on the survey, 58% of the respondents agreed that the taste is acceptable, and the product has rich nutrients that are good for the body.
