Abstract

Traffic management involves various actions and strategies designed to optimize traffic flow and enhance the traffic environment without significant capital expenditures or the need for acquiring right of way. This study intended to evaluate the efficiency of Traffic and Transport Management Development (TTMD) Traffic Enforcers in Commonwealth Quezon City concerning age, gender, educational qualifications, civil status, length of service, the respondents’ evaluation regarding traffic engineering, enforcement, education, the issues faced by respondents related to the previously mentioned variables, and the measures that may be suggested to address the encountered challenges regarding the efficacy of Traffic and Transport Management Development (TTMD) Traffic Enforcers in Commonwealth Quezon City. This study employed a quantitative approach, specifically a descriptive research design, to evaluate the research variables. We implemented the Purposive Sampling Technique to choose Fifty (50) Traffic and Transport Management Development Traffic Enforcers as participants for this research. Additionally, we used a survey questionnaire with closed-ended questions to collect the necessary data from the participants. The results of the research concerning the efficacy of Traffic and Transport Management Development Traffic Enforcers show that most of the participants “Strongly Agreed” that the Traffic and Transport Management Development Traffic Enforcers were successful in terms of traffic engineering, enforcement, education, and of traffic rules and regulations. The research indicated that the participants "strongly agreed" that the Traffic and Transport Management Development Traffic Enforcers were proficient in traffic engineering, enforcement, education, and traffic rules and regulations. We suggest to the management of Traffic and Transport Management Development in Kalayaan Avenue Quezon City, the organization of workshops, seminars, and the enhancement of awareness campaigns to improve understanding and compliance among drivers and motorists, Strictly enforce traffic laws, and intensify penalties for drivers caught breaching loading and unloading regulations, including fines and potential license points to better their effectiveness in promoting sustainable urban mobility and advancing the overall quality of life in Commonwealth Quezon City.
