Benefits of Wearing Corporate Attire to Grade 12 General Academic Strand Students in Bestlink College of the Philippines an Assessment

Students are generally identified about their level of education and affiliation from their uniform or a formal dress for ages. The dress code for senior high school students has always been a controversial issue among various stakeholders. On one side, institutions want to have dress code policies for maintaining a healthy learning environment; on the other side, it faces opposition from the students and their parents who consider it as a meaningless restriction on them. The researchers conducted this study to determine the benefits of wearing corporate attire to Grade 12 General Academic Strand students in Bestlink College of the Philippines. Quantitative–Descriptive method design was used here. This research utilized purposive sampling to select 50Grade 12 General Academic Strand students as respondents. With the overall composite weighted means of 4.01 for male respondents and 3.93 for the female respondents, both groups strongly agreed on wearing corporate attire creates uniformity. With the overall weighted means of 3.99 for male respondents and 3.93 for female respondents, both groups strongly agreed that wearing corporate attire gives them a sense of pride. With the overall weighted means of 3.06 for male respondents and 3.92 for female respondents, both groups strongly agreed that wearing corporate attire promotes the school spirit. Based on the following of the study and conclusions that were drawn, the following suggestion was forwarded: students should be united, they should create uniformity that can look good and formal as a student, use comfortable cloth, make the student pride, love the school that you love, being proud of their school, and wear a uniform of famous school makes my go pride high. Wearing a uniform will benefit the school to gain popularity and determine which school the students attend, thereby giving students confidence.
