This research study explores the teaching styles of special education teachers among children with exceptional needs at the Cradle of Learning. Children with exceptional needs may have academic difficulties, developmental delays, or conditions that require specialized care, necessitating a highly tailored educational approach. The teaching philosophies employed by special education teachers play a crucial role in fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments for these students. This study utilized a qualitative design, specifically the descriptive method. A researcher-made questionnaire was used to gather targeted responses. The respondents consisted of fifteen (15) teachers from a SPED school in Quezon City. The data collected was analyzed using frequency and percentage distribution, as well as the weighted mean, which was calculated by summing all responses and dividing by the total number of respondents. A five-point Likert scale was used to better interpret the gathered data. The study revealed that special education teachers demonstrated a high level of flexibility and adaptability in their instructional practices. Upon thorough analysis of the survey data, the assessment provided valuable insights into the teaching styles employed by special education teachers working with children with exceptional needs. The findings highlighted various strategies used and their effectiveness in addressing these children's unique educational requirements. Special education teachers acknowledged the significance of personalized learning experiences in fostering student engagement, academic progress, socialization, communication, and self-confidence, thereby creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment. This study indicates that new educators primarily focus on teaching children with autism and ADHD, particularly in private middle and high schools. It is essential for teachers to incorporate various instructional methods, including visual, auditory, and kinesthetic approaches, to cater to the diverse learning needs of children with exceptional needs.
