Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the efficacy of in-house and outsourced recruitment
for the employees of Mega Modular Cabinet and Innovative Interior Design in terms of salary,
employee benefits, recruitment cost, and management time.

From the results of this, the researchers will reveal that in-house is the most effective in terms
of cost efficiency in recruitment; it shows that the majority is favored by outsourced
recruitment, with the ranking of 2.56 somehow agreeing with the overall weighted mean of 2.1
salaries outsourced in terms of salary cost efficiency; the common problem encountered in the
hiring process is that recruitment can be expensive, especially if the firm relies on an agency.
In terms of in-house recruitment, it got the highest score of 60 percent, which means that in-
house recruitment is more effective than outsourced recruitment. In-house and outsourced
recruitment need to focus on the daily expenses to modify, properly allocate, and track their
expenses in terms of cost and time consumed.

The researchers recommend that the company focus on how to attract more applicants
without incurring a lot of expenses by using a free online platform to expand its brand
awareness, update its pages, and edit its portfolio, whether it is in-house or outsourced. The
researchers recommend that in-house recruitment is more cost-effective than outsourced
recruitment based on the research presented in the study. The in-house recruitment team
should choose applicants that are near the company location, or if that is not possible, give
employees accommodations or a recommendation of a possible place to stay to lessen their
cost when it comes to transportation and travel fees. The researcher recommends to the
company that they track their daily expenses, properly manage their time by writing an
itinerary, and be more efficient and effective. And, more importantly, to lessen the cost. After a
thorough study, the results show that in-house is the most effective in terms of the recruitment
process.
