Effectiveness of Creating Ballpen Organizer by Using Recycled Plastic Bottles in Grade 12 ABM Strand Students in Bestlink College of the Philippines

Abstract

This research focused on the effectiveness of using recycled plastic bottles in creating a ballpen organizer and to lessen the plastic bottle waste in Bestlink College of the Philippines. The researchers used the qualitative method in pursuing the study by using the descriptive research design. The researchers also used random sampling to select 50Grade 12 Accountancy, Business, and Management Strandstudents as respondents. Using plastic bottles as ballpen organizers showed that the students will develop their creativity, it can help the students to organize their pens, and it is also eco-friendly. The product is different from other pencil cases because it is made of recycled materials. The students can also create based on their designs. The students, teachers, and the environment will also benefit from the product. Lastly, the product is useful to everystudent by maintaining the cleanliness and organization of their bags. The results of this research revealed that using a plastic bottle to make a ballpen organizer is effective and extremely productive. It helps not only the students and teachers but most especially helps lessen the plastic bottle waste in our school.
