Abstract

The research focused on recycling tin cans by turning them into pencil cases and implementing them in Grade 12 Accountancy, Business, and Management (ABM) Strand students on our campus. The study revealed the aspects that may lead to the effects of implementing using of pencil cases made of tin cans in Grade 12 ABM Strand students at Bestlink College of the Philippines. A qualitative method was used in this study by using the descriptive research design. This study involved 50 selected Grade 12 ABM Strand students. Four variables were considered as the advantages of recycling tin cans, such as students’ discipline, environment cleanliness, students’ creativeness, and parents’ expenditure. Creativity and willingness are one of the factors that students need to create beautiful recycled tin cans. Another aspect revealed that students may also be affected if they do not know how and are unwilling to recycle. The study revealed that recycling has an impact on our lives and our environment. Recycling helps us to save money that we can use for our other personal needs. It helps us to be economic and creative citizens. The study also showed that recycling is important and can help people and the environment in many ways.
