Abstract

The faculty information system (FIS) is a system for automating and simplifying the process of updating and reporting faculty information. The purpose of the system is to help the faculty staff and admins to monitor the information provided by the faculty members to the faculty system. By using this application, it can secure the data from unknown users and can store even more faculty data. The systems development life cycle method was used to gather the data needed for this study. The researchers used a questionnaire that served as the instrument in collecting data. The researchers interviewed the faculty staff who monitors the actual faculty system in Bestlink College of the Philippines. The inquiry was conducted during S.Y. 2019–2020. In collecting the client’s suggestions for creating their desired faculty system, we put a login system to secure the data input in the system, a table for monitoring the achievements of every faculty member, and a soft copy of all faculty’s information by using backup features. The human resource needs to improve their existing system in securing and monitoring faculty’s information. The direct conversion was the selected service transition to change the existing system immediately with the newly developed system.
