Abstract

The guidance system is developed to record complaints and problems of students in the guidance office. This system will keep track of the record of a certain student and also consists of all personal data about the student, such as name, student number, address, course, etc. This system also allows the admin to register students who violate school policies and is accessible to the admin. The system also displays the five submodules of the system, namely, Student Information, Counseling, Evaluation, Good Moral, and Report. Agile is a process by which a team can manage a project by breaking it up into several stages and involving constant collaboration with stakeholders and continuous improvement and iteration at every stage. The agile methodology begins with clients describing how the end product will be used and what problem it will solve, which clarifies the customer’s expectations to the project team. Once the work begins, the teams cycle through a process of planning, executing, and evaluating, which may change the final deliverable to fit the customer’s needs better. After developing a guidance system that focuses on five different submodules, the end product is now for deployment. The features are easy to understand and user-friendly. The guidance system consists of five submodules, that is, Student Information (allows the admin to add, view, and update a particular student that has a violation, as well as displays the record of the student who has a violation and the students enrolled in BCP Bulacan), Counseling (allows the admin to add students that should undergo counseling), Evaluation (allows the admin to monitor the professor’s stand in a classroom), Good Moral (contains the record/history of the student that already received a copy of Good Moral), and Report (used to create and send reports to other departments).
