Abstract

Moringa oleifera(malunggay)is a kind of green, leafy vegetable that has nutritious value; it can boost energy and provide nutrition. Malunggayleaf is a wonderful herb that is known worldwide because it grows very widely in a hot tropical climate such as the Philippines. It is also affordable, and some people do not need to buy it. You can ask your neighbors if you can pick some malunggay leaves from their malunggay tree in their backyard, or you can plant this kind of tree because it is easy to grow. We chose steamed rice cake or “puto” in this study. Puto is a type of Filipino steamed rice cake. The varieties of puto are as plentiful as the many regions of the Philippines. Puto is traditionally made from ground rice that has been soaked in water overnight. This version is easy to make at home with rice flour. This study utilized experimental research. A simple random sampling technique was used in this study. A survey questionnaire was also used as the instrument in this study. In this variable, all teachers and students strongly agreed. The highest weighted mean for students was 4.27 in terms of nutritional value, whereas the lowest weighted mean was3.72 in terms of aroma. The highest weighted mean for teachers was4.85 in terms of taste, whereas the lowest weighted means was 3.87 in terms of aroma. Overall, we evaluated the teachers' and students’ demographic profiles and rated their frequency indicators. Then, we scaled it to very strongly agree, strongly agree, agree, moderately agree, and less agree. Our product did not emulsifier enough to be similar toa puto. Then, we suggested conducting further research about malunggay puto because it has more nutritional value than you need for your immune system. It will also help the students to have the healthy body that they need when they study.
