The study revealed the aspects that may affect the performance of Grade 12 Accountancy, Business, and Management (ABM) Strand students of Bestlink College of the Philippines during emergencies. A qualitative method was used in this study by using descriptive research design. This study involved 50 selected Grade 12 ABM students as respondents. Three factors that affect the academic performance of students during emergencies when having an emergency kit (shoebox), such as being prepared for unexpected events, giving first aid assistance, and having less harmful effects, were considered in this study. The result of the action research is as follows. Preparedness and giving first aid assistance are important during unexpected situations inside of the classroom. Knowingassisting people who got minor injuries can help the students improve their learnings and skills on how to give first aid, which can help their performance during an emergency. Another aspect revealed that students may also be affected if they do not have an emergency box. The study revealed that not having an emergency kit in the classroom affects the performance of students mostly when accidents happen inside the classroom because they cannot respond quickly in times of emergency, which can add damage to the wound and expose it to infection.
