THE IMPLEMENTATION OF FIRE PROTECTION MODERNIZATION ACT IN IMPROVING THE EQUIPMENT AND MANPOWER OF VALENZUELA CITY BUREAU OF FIRE PROTECTION

Abstract

In recent times, there has been a growing need for emergency response services that are both robust and efficient in urban environments. The city of Valenzuela, situated in the center of the Philippines, is no exception, particularly concerning fire prevention measures. The study also aims to assess the Act’s impact on fire safety services in Valenzuela City. Questionnaire this tool is utilized to ascertain the profile of the respondents regarding the execution of the Bureau of Fire Protection Modernization Act in advancing and upgrading the equipment and personnel. It can be employed to identify trends and averages, forecast outcomes, examine causal relationships, and extrapolate findings to broader populations. Based on the outcomes and discoveries of the BFP personnel and volunteers in Valenzuela regarding the attainment of the fire protection modernization act's objectives, the researchers assessed that the increased funding for the upgrading of new equipment is the primary factor in achieving it. The researchers propose the following suggestions for the issue faced due to inadequate upkeep of modern apparatus in the bureau of fire protection. First, to provide extra modern equipment required in the fire protection unit. Second, ensure consistent maintenance of the equipment. Three, conduct regular evaluations and assessments of training programs to gauge effectiveness and pinpoint areas for enhancement. Four, ongoing training and cooperation involved in emergencies. Five, employ additional staff by recruiting qualified candidates for the bureau of fire protection.
