Mathematics plays a vital role in daily life, helping individuals solve problems in both personal and professional settings. In the Philippines, many public schools have adopted modular remote learning, shifting how students acquire knowledge. Given that students frequently engage with YouTube for entertainment and learning, integrating it into classroom instruction could enhance their listening comprehension and mathematical skills. This study explores the effectiveness of YouTube as a learning tool for improving students’ mathematical abilities. The study employed quantitative research using a customized survey questionnaire alongside pre-tests and post-tests. The researchers applied simple random sampling to select respondents while considering relevant characteristics for assessment. The pre-test evaluated students' prior mathematical knowledge, the post-test measured knowledge gained from YouTube tutorials, and the survey questionnaire assessed the overall effectiveness of YouTube in enhancing mathematical skills. Data were collected from 67 GAS students at Bestlink College of the Philippines. The post-test scores demonstrated a statistically significant improvement compared to the pre-test scores, confirming the positive impact of teacher-made YouTube video lessons on students’ understanding of mathematical concepts. However, some challenges persisted, including inadequate teaching, limited time for learning, and unstable internet connections. The findings indicate that the YouTube tutorials provided by the researchers were effective in enhancing students' mathematical skills. The significant difference between pre-test and post-test scores suggests that teacher-made video lessons serve as a valuable supplement to traditional classroom instruction, reinforcing student learning in mathematics.
