In recent years, the integration of body-worn cameras (BWCs) into police operations has become a pivotal development aimed at enhancing transparency, accountability, and public trust in law enforcement agencies. These devices, affixed to officers' uniforms, record interactions between police personnel and the public, providing objective documentation of events. The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Station 4, located in Novaliches, has been at the forefront of adopting BWCs to foster better community relations and improve policing practices. This study evaluates the impact of body-worn cameras (BWCs) on policing practices and public trust among the personnel of Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Station 4 in Novaliches, a mixed-methods research design will be employed. This approach integrates both quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis techniques to provide a holistic understanding of the effects of BWC implementation. The implementation of body-worn cameras (BWCs) by the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Station 4 in Novaliches has yielded a range of outcomes concerning policing practices and public trust. The findings are categorized into quantitative analyses and qualitative insights. In the past few years, police body-worn cameras (BWCs) have become an innovative and advanced tool in law enforcement, aiming to enhance transparency, accountability, and public trust. However, the implementation of BWCs also raises significant ethical and privacy concerns, particularly regarding the balance between confidentiality and accessibility. This study seeks to explore these issues by examining the perceptions of both police officers and community members in Novaliches, Quezon City, focusing on Police Station 4 along Quirino Highway.
