FACTORS AFFECTING VISITOR'S CHOICE IN MANILA TOURIST DESTINATION.A BASIS FOR IMPROVEMENT PLAN

Abstract

Manila, a popular tourist destination, boasts modern attractions such as the National Museum, Fort Santiago, Rizal Park, San Agustin Church, and Manila Bay Walk, offering unforgettable experiences despite the traffic. The study employs a descriptive design to accurately identify a population, situation, or phenomenon by addressing what, where, when, and how questions without manipulating variables. Manila's population includes 27% females of diverse ages and civil statuses, who frequently visit popular tourist spots such as Fort Santiago, the National Museum, San Agustin Church, Rizal Park, and Manila Bay Walk. The survey shows that 73% of respondents are female, aged 15-20, single, and married, with top tourist destinations in Manila being Fort Santiago, National Museum, San Agustin Church, Rizal Park, and Manila Bay Walk.
