Juvenile delinquency remains a significant global social issue, encompassing unlawful behaviors among individuals aged 18 and younger. It poses a threat to community members, young families, and society as a whole. In response, many countries have implemented peace and order programs that include free sports and recreational activities for young people, promoting self-discipline, cooperation, and friendship. These initiatives also support disadvantaged youth by providing free meals, addressing the critical issue of hunger, which often exacerbates social unrest and inequality. By addressing fundamental issues such as education, recreation, and hunger, these programs help mitigate broader societal challenges. Moreover, this study examines the impact of peace and order programs on the prevention of children in conflict with the law. This study used a mixed-methods approach and a descriptive-exploratory research design. Surveys were used in the quantitative component to assess how individuals (those aged 18 and up) who are involved in the execution and assessment of peace and order programs feel about the prevention of juvenile delinquency under RA 9344. Key informant interviews were conducted as part of the qualitative and quantitative component to obtain information about particular program practices, difficulties, and suggestions. This chapter presented tables, analyses, and interpretations of the data gathered by the researchers. It included the demographic profile of the respondents, the survey questions, as well as the statistical treatment used in the study. The top recommendation, with the highest percentage of 11.93% from the respondents, was the indicator: “Implement restorative justice approaches that focus on rehabilitation and reintegration rather than punishment." This can involve mediation, victim-offender dialogue, and community-based programs.” The second recommendation that respondents agreed upon was the indicator: “Community policing fosters strong relationships between law enforcement and communities, particularly youth. This can involve community outreach programs, youth dialogues, and joint initiatives to address local concerns.” Finally, the measure proposed by respondents regarding effective institutions for the control of juvenile delinquency highlighted the importance of parental involvement, positive parenting, emotional support, and education.
