Abstract

Scrunchos is a unique snack venture located on Que Grande Street, Barangay Ugong, Valenzuela City. Founded by 11 partners, the business transforms chicken skin, a poultry by-product, into indulgent and innovative snacks, including chicken skin nachos and chips. Rooted in sustainability and customer satisfaction, Scrunchos offers eco-friendly, affordable, and flavorful treats that cater to evolving consumer tastes while promoting responsible and sustainable consumption. The Scrunchos business model integrates market research, financial analysis, and strategic planning to ensure long-term viability. Key methods include demographic, geographic, and psychographic market segmentation, allowing the business to effectively target students, working professionals, and local residents. Operational plans focus on sustainable sourcing and efficient production processes. Marketing strategies leverage social media platforms, loyalty programs, and direct customer engagement to boost visibility and foster brand loyalty. Financial projections affirm the viability of Scrunchos, with cost-efficient production enabling both affordability and profitability. A markup pricing strategy is employed to balance operational costs with customer value, with product prices ranging from ₱65 to ₱85. The business’s strategic location ensures accessibility to a diverse customer base. Scrunchos’ distinctive product offerings and commitment to sustainability set it apart from competitors, supporting strong initial market adoption and long-term customer loyalty. Scrunchos demonstrates strong potential to redefine the snack food market by addressing unmet consumer needs for indulgent yet environmentally responsible products. Key challenges include scaling operations and maintaining consistent product quality. However, growth opportunities lie in expanding the product line, leveraging e-commerce channels, and exploring additional locations. By fostering innovation, upholding high-quality standards, and prioritizing customer satisfaction, Scrunchos aims to establish itself as a leading brand in the competitive snack industry.
