Abstract

This business plan presents the establishment of Pizzanada, an innovative food venture located at 29 Quirino Highway, Novaliches, Quezon City. The business introduces a unique product that merges two popular favorites, pizza and empanada, by offering pizza-inspired fillings wrapped in malunggay-infused empanada dough. Aimed at students, professionals, and local residents, Pizzanada addresses the growing demand for affordable, convenient, and flavorful snacks. This business plan was developed through comprehensive methods including market research, financial forecasting, product testing, and SWOT analysis. To identify the target market, demographic, psychographic, geographic, and behavioral segmentation were applied. Surveys and product sensory evaluations were conducted to assess consumer appeal and preferences. Financial viability was analyzed through detailed income statements, cost assessments, and return on investment (ROI) projections. The marketing strategy focuses on direct selling and digital promotions, primarily through social media platforms such as Facebook and TikTok. Pizzanada offers a variety of flavors, including Cheesy Ham, Cheesy Mushroom, Cheesy Bacon, and Hawaiian, priced between ₱32 and ₱36. These savory options are complemented by refreshing beverages such as Iced Lemon Tea and Cucumber Bliss Tea.  With a starting capital of ₱55,000, the business is structured as a general partnership among 11 members. Financial projections indicate that the return on investment (ROI) can be achieved by the eighth month of operation. A cost-plus pricing strategy is employed to ensure profitability while maintaining affordability.  All necessary legal requirements, including business permits and licenses, have been secured. The business’s strategic location near schools and commercial centers provides high foot traffic and excellent visibility. Pizzanada combines culinary creativity with health consciousness by incorporating malunggay into its empanada dough, appealing to health-aware consumers. Its affordability and innovative concept provide a competitive edge in a saturated snack market.
