Abstract

E-Commerce Management System is a platform that allows businesses to manage their
online operations or transactions. It is integrated with features and tools specifically used for
business entities. It enables companies to streamline their online sales processes, enhance
customer satisfaction, and increase online income. Human Resource Management is the
process of managing possible and existing employees within the company. This involves the
recruitment, selection, training, and management of employees, as well as designing and
implementing policies to ensure that employees are in their right roles. They play a crucial role
in achieving the company’s goals and objectives, for they manage the valuable assets of the
business – its employees.

As a result of the method used, the project team was able to develop a system that focuses on
Human Resource Management. The E-Commerce Management System - Human Resource 1
simplifies the tasks for recruitment and management of employees. Through its development,
issues, and problems that arose during the recruitment process and employee management
were resolved. Unnecessary steps were eliminated to reduce the time, tasks, and staff
needed to handle/monitor applicants and employees, hence improving their services. This
system provides a streamlined approach to recruiting the right candidate, learning and training
programs, evaluating employee competency and performance, succession planning, and
improving social recognition through rewards and recognitions.

The implementation of this system improved the operations and functionality of the Human
Resource Department. The following goals were achieved after the system integration:
efficient tracking and monitoring of applicants during the recruitment process, ease of
monitoring the status of employees’ tasks and performance, improved social recognition
within the company through the Rewarding and Recognitions module, enhanced employees’
abilities and skills resulting in an increase in productivity by providing on-site and virtual
training programs included in the Learning and Training Management module.
