Abstract

Hotel Management System Core Transaction 1 is a system that aids the management of the
customer’s data, hotel staff, customer registration, customer accommodation, or allocation
into specific rooms, room reservation, and personal staff management to develop a structured
program to manage supplies and improve their performance. The Hotel Management System
Core Transaction 1 uses an online method for customer registration or reservation.

As a result, it eliminates the issues and problems encountered in the Hotel Management
System. The implementation of the new and upgraded system of Core Transaction I, which is
named the hotel management system, is built to be an intuitive system that has functions that
the user can easily familiarize themselves with and understand. Additionally, we added some
improved features to the system, like flexible payment methods, check-in and check-out
status monitoring, room management updates, housekeeper reports, and generating an
overall report of the system's activity.

This project will improve the Hotel Management Department's operation and functionality.
Core Transaction 1 keeps confidential and important data inside the system. It stores the
records of the customer, the data of the employee, and the future plans for the hotel, which are
very important to keep. That's why it needs invulnerable and secured security features that we
implemented, and those are Data privacy, password strength, and session timeout to protect
the system against hackers. Moreover, the system has a data backup in case the data is
corrupted and a storage file that maintains the data.
