Abstract

A particular skill of making a decorative object by hand, handicraft should be extremely precise and artistically done. Expressed as artisanal handicraft or handmade, it is any of a wide variety of types of work here. Useful and decorative objects are made completely by hand or using only simple tools. Handicraft has become an important element in the world. This study will help students and future students to control and reuse used paper to make handicrafts. This study aimed to enhance the creativity of students in making handicrafts and reduce used or scratch papers. This study used a descriptive research design and survey method. A total of 50 respondents were randomly chosen from Grade 12 Accountancy, Business, and Management (ABM) students in sections 10–18 in Bestlink College of the Philippines. The findings showed that the following may improve the entrepreneurial skills of the students: (1) Creating new products –Having new ideas and strategies in making products by recycling used paper is an effective way to improve the entrepreneurial skills of Grade 12 ABM students. Being an entrepreneur is being an innovator; thus, the students need to think of unique strategies and original ideas for them to produce a beautiful product. (2) Develop effective marketing strategies –Helping the entrepreneurs to be increasingly creative in making a new invention or material through the use of papers improves the entrepreneurial skills of the students. Being an entrepreneur does not mean that you already have extensive knowledge about the field of business. Students need a assistance to create a different product that will make them more competitive. The researchers made the following recommendations: the students should use their notebooks and paper pads wisely and should recycle used paper as materials for their projects. Teachers t can include using recycling materials in doing projects. School administrators can also conduct entrepreneurial activities that can be a potential business by using recycled papers. Future researchers can improve the aims of the study.
