Abstract

Bubble milk tea has become uniquely popular across the globe. One reason bubble milk tea has become globally popular is because of its versatility; unlike soda or other prepackaged beverages, there is no limit to how many flavors of a bubble can be created. Considering the trend in milk tea, many entrepreneurs now are putting this business in the market, which also causes plastic waste. Most milk tea shops are using single-use plastic in serving milk tea to their customer. After the customer consumes their milk tea, they will throw away the plastic and it will become waste. Hence, this proposed business came up with this concept of milk tea in a tumbler. Serving milk tea in a tumbler can reduce plastic waste. This study utilized the descriptive method of research design and used a survey questionnaire to determine the market viability of the business. It included the 4P’s to know if the business and its product offer are feasible to the market. This study utilized 100 respondents around the business location to know their perception about the business and its product offer. This study also utilized the financial aspect to determine the amount of money required in the realization of this feasibility study. The prospects of this business were teenagers, middle age, male and female, employed, unemployed, and students along Zabarte Road. Regarding the product of this business, out of 100 respondents, 89% said that they are a fan of milk tea and willing to purchase a milk tea that is served in a tumbler, while 11% are not. In terms of price, out of 100 respondents, 96% said that the cost of the product can affect their buying decision, while 4% said it does not. In terms of the location, among 100 respondents, 76% said that the business location is accessible and convenient to the customer, while 24% said the location is not accessible. Lastly, for promotion, among 100 respondents, 91% said that they are willing to purchase milk tea in a refillable tumbler, while 9% said they are not. In terms of the financial aspect, the return of investment (ROI) of the business increased up to 24.65% in 2020, 47.23% in 2021, 51.19% in 2022, 57.38% in 2023, and 85.38% in 2024. The foregoing analysis showed that the business was feasible to the market and can offer a variety of products at affordable prices, which can meet the customer’s purchasing power. At the same, the business will also gain profit that can cover its expenses, and location is accessible and enough to gather a wide range of customers.
