Abstract

Implementing a systematic parking system involves integrating smart technologies to enhance efficiency and convenience. This study, titled “Efficient Parking Solutions: Implementing a Smart Parking System at Bestlink College of the Philippines,” aims to create an organized and user-friendly parking management system. The primary goal is to promote a seamless parking experience by utilizing modern technology while ensuring the implementation of supportive policies that contribute to sustainability and improved parking efficiency at Bestlink College of the Philippines. The researchers utilized an IR proximity sensor to regulate entry and exit points within the parking area, integrated with an I2C display for clear user guidance. A servo motor was employed for the tollgate barrier, while an Arduino Uno was used as the central control board for the system. Collaboration with local government entities was also explored to implement policies, pilot programs, and public-private partnerships that would facilitate a seamless and sustainable parking management system. The smart parking system aims to enhance efficiency by reducing congestion, optimizing space utilization, and improving the overall parking experience at Bestlink College of the Philippines. The system offers real-time parking availability updates, supports sustainable practices, and seamlessly integrates with public transport systems, thereby ensuring a more organized and accessible parking infrastructure. The implementation of a smart parking system at Bestlink College of the Philippines significantly improves urban mobility, user convenience, and sustainability. By leveraging smart technologies and effective planning, the system ensures an efficient, user-centric solution that enhances the overall parking experience. This initiative contributes to a well-structured and easily accessible parking system, benefiting both students and faculty members.
