Abstract

This research paper examines the effectiveness of the Tourism Management program at Bestlink College of the Philippines in shaping the professional growth and career readiness of its graduates. With the approval of the Program Head of the Tourism Department, data was gathered from alumni to assess the program's impact on their skills, industry adaptability, and employment opportunities. The study aims to provide valuable insights for curriculum enhancement and the continuous improvement of the program to better align with industry demands. The study gathered data through online questionnaires distributed via social media platforms, with 50 graduates participating. The results indicate that the Tourism Management program has significantly contributed to the graduates' professional growth. It has enhanced their communication, human relations, leadership, problem-solving, and research skills, preparing them for careers in the tourism and hospitality industry. The findings indicate that the program has effectively equipped graduates with essential skills and competencies, preparing them for successful careers in the tourism management industry. Based on these findings, the researchers have developed an action plan to further improve the program. This initiative aims to enhance the educational experience, equipping future students with a more comprehensive skill set and industry-relevant expertise.
