Abstract

In the dining sector, overseeing tables and event bookings is essential for efficient functioning. Nonetheless, numerous restaurants encounter difficulties due to obsolete systems. Our Restaurant Table and Event Reservation system, along with Time Management, aim to tackle these challenges. It simplifies reservation procedures and enhances customer satisfaction. This system enables restaurants to improve their resource management and remain competitive in the marketplace. Numerous restaurants face challenges with old reservation systems, resulting in double bookings, overlooked reservations, and ineffective staff distribution. Without efficient time management skills, these venues struggle to optimize table turnover and organize events, leading to possible revenue decline and customer discontent. The project team addresses these issues. It simplifies the reservation process and improves time management, such as displaying table availability instantly and organizing events more effectively. This assists restaurants in increasing revenue, optimizing staff time, and maintaining high customer satisfaction To assess the Reservation process, researchers performed interviews, surveys, and observations at dining establishments. The main topics examined were: -Booking systems (internet, telephone) -Processes for event reservations -Strategies for table assignment and time management -Customer opinions regarding the reservation experience Interviews and observations provided important insights about table reservations, event bookings, and time management systems within the restaurant sector. Main discoveries highlight: The significance of accessible online and telephone booking systems. The necessity for effective communication and collaboration among personnel. The importance of managing tables in real-time and optimizing seating. Difficulties in handling customer expectations during busy periods. Chances to enhance staff scheduling and distribution of tasks By establishing efficient table reservation, event scheduling, and time management systems in the restaurant sector through crucial elements like intuitive booking platforms, real-time table oversight, staff collaboration, and effective task distribution, restaurants can elevate customer satisfaction, streamline operational processes, and enhance overall service quality
