Effective inventory management is essential in the fast-food industry to maintain a balance between product availability and customer demand, while preventing challenges such as overstocking and stockouts. Studies show that poor inventory control leads to operational inefficiencies and financial losses. A descriptive research design was employed, using purposive sampling to select 30 Jollibee employees directly involved in inventory management. Data were collected via a structured questionnaire and analyzed using weighted mean and ranking techniques. The findings show that employees strongly believe their organization effectively manages inventory, especially in controlling overstocking (mean = 3.70) and minimizing waste through FIFO methods (mean = 3.60). Strengths were noted in inventory tracking and accurate reporting, though some minor concerns about system usability and training emerged. The study also identified persistent challenges, including the lack of real-time error detection, insufficient notifications for expiring stock, and difficulties coordinating across departments. These issues threaten operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. The study concludes that, although the inventory systems at Jollibee Puregold Luzon perform well overall, focused enhancements are necessary to improve efficiency and effectiveness. The study advises adopting real-time monitoring and error-checking systems, bolstering staff training, fostering better team communication, and incorporating automated notifications for soon-to-expire stock. These improvements are expected to minimize waste, enhance inventory accuracy, and maintain consistent service quality. Overall, the research offers important perspectives on inventory management in fast-food operations and highlights the need for flexible, technology-based solutions. Further studies are recommended to assess long-term effects and to benchmark sophisticated inventory systems across comparable businesses for wider industry relevance.
