Stress is generally thought of in negative terms, but it can manifest itself positively and negatively. In this study, stress has a stressor that is merely a stimulus that causes stress. Stressors can be a multitude of things that worry people most in their life. The researchers will list and explain few examples that cause stress. In this topic, we aimed to determine the effects of stress on students’ study habits. Stress can also cause significant problems. Thus, if an individual will not take action, then the stress response can create or worsen our health problems. The researchers used a descriptive design that elaborates the effects of stress on students’ study habits. The researchers administered a survey questionnaire to determine the effects of stress on students’ study habits. The statistical treatments used in this study were frequency distribution and weighted mean. The results showed that laziness can affect the stress level of the students and their study habits, with a weighted mean of 4.25. The respondents asserted that headaches can trigger stress, thereby affecting their study habits, with a weighted mean of 4.05. The third student asserted that overthinking can affects the stress level of students, thereby affecting their study habits, with a weighted mean of 4.01. The effects of stress on students’ study habits had negative effects on students in developing skills if we utilize the effects of stress on students especially those with a financial problem. To stabilize and avoid being stressed, the student must talk to a professional advisory to reduce stress and focus on their academics.
