Abstract

This study, Impact of Employability Skills among Hospitality Management Graduates of
Bestlink College of the Philippines A.Y 2021-2022: An Assessment was conducted to know
what the employer often looks for in one applicant seeking a job in Hospitality Industry.

Our results showed that having a bachelor's Degree has a big impact on employability skills
and great advantages the certificate they must accomplish to get employed in the industry
they’re applying for. The results also revealed that having flexible skills could be an advantage
for Hospitality Management Graduates due to their ability to think quickly and respond to
sudden changes, which could also have an impact on employability skills. Work experience is
one of the most agreed upon by the respondents based on the survey that one hotelier must
possess in order to work in the hospitality industry.

The implication of this study could be used to promote the idea that graduates should practice
all the necessary skills and educate themselves more in the industry they’re planning to
pursue to gain knowledge and experience and improve their skills to help both their career and
life in general.
