Abstract

This study investigates the personal hygiene that takes many forms in the workplace.
Disposing gloves after each use, washing hands and arms completely, and covering wounds
are all necessary steps and we, the researcher, found out to the students that the school
canteen environment was dirty and it was not clean properly, and the problem is that each stall
in canteen serves food that has no cover it means it was exposed to air which is bad to our
health and can cause foodborne diseases so we the researchers have some solutions to help
the food handlers, which is our research itself aimed to evaluate food safety knowledge,
attitudes and practices of food handlers in school at Bestlink College of the Philippines at Mv
Campus.

The result shows that the school canteen in Mv Campus still lacks knowledge regarding the
proper handling of foods, proper hygiene itself, and most importantly, the proper wearing of a
complete uniform. This is still the problem that needs to be resolved that the students of
Bachelor of Science in Business Administration encounter during their stay in the canteen on
Mv Campus.

The action plan that it must do to improve the school canteen in Mv Campus was regular
monitoring and checkups to make certain that everything follows the rules of Bestlink College
of the Philippines Mv Campus. Most importantly, it must strictly implement the cleanliness of
the working area of food handlers to make sure that the food that they are going to make is
safe and does not contain any viruses for the safety of the students.
