Learning Capabilities of Grade 12 Gas Students of Bestlink College of the Philippines: Independent Learning Set-up

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the learning capabilities of grade 12 GAS Students'
independent learning set-up in terms of Comprehension, Initiative, and Self-discipline,
Determining students' problems encountered. To assist students in independent setup and
guide them to focus on learning for their benefit.

The result of the study that researchers conducted showed that there's a significant difference
between male and female groups of respondents that affects their learning capabilities in the
independent learning set-up.

This study recommended that students, especially male students, should further improve their
learning capabilities in terms of comprehension and initiative. Also, Males should improve
their actions and responsibilities in the Independent Learning setup. In terms of self-discipline,
male students have a low average compared to female learners, who have an average of self-
discipline as determined by the results of the Study. Research is more likely to recommend
having more time to study and enjoy and be grateful for abundant learnings all the time and
execute learnings in all situations.
