Factors affecting Academic Performances amidst Pandemic of Physical Education Students at Bestlink College of the Philippines

Abstract
This study presented the factors affecting the academic performances of physical education students amidst the pandemic in terms of learning devices. The majority of the students have their own learning devices when attending online classes that can help them follow and comply with their online activities and lessons. In Internet Connection, the students struggle more in attending class due to the bad weather and weak internet connection. Moreover, financial difficulties make it hard for students to prioritize spending on internet service. In the Learning Environment, most of the students chose a conducive environment to help themselves improve their academic performances. Lastly, regarding Mental Health, most of the students had problems handling their mental health capabilities, which can affect their academic performances.
Regarding the different factors affecting academic performance in terms of attendance, the students are motivated to attend their classes regularly to enhance their academic performance despite the fact that we are in the middle of a pandemic and using online classes. During recitations, respondents are confident and consistent in participating in online class discussions. In activities, respondents are responsible and compliant withth their assignments and activities on time despite the pandemic to improve their academic performances. Lastly, during practical exams, students are more interested in creating videos related to the subject of physical education as their practical exam to improve their talents as physical education students despite the pandemic.
