Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effective ways to know the current experience
about the Assessment on online and Face-to-Face modality as perceived by Grade 12
General Academic Strand students in improving their participation. This study utilized a
descriptive research method; the research selected fifty(50) respondents from the General
Academic Strand to answer the survey questionnaires the researchers prepared. The result of
this study reveals that among the factors, knowledge is the most considered variable that
gives the students an idea to know more things that they use in learning that help them easily.
Meanwhile, comprehension is considered a variable that improves understanding of the
lesson, and it may encourage the students to participate in all activities in online and face-to-
face classes. In senior high school students, academic performance is considered a variable
that improves their understanding of the lesson that they learned. It determined that
assessment in online and face-to-face classes is effective for Grade 12 students In terms of
comprehension, Academic performance, and knowledge.
