Abstract

The pandemic affected many students and teachers, which had a big influence on education. Due to the pandemic, schools and other learning institutions have shuttered. Current schooling is being harmed by the crisis, which lowers opportunities for many individuals. Aid in the continuation of education for the most disadvantaged individuals, kids, and teenagers.

The researchers utilized the descriptive method in determining the Effects of Teaching Physical Education Using Online Modality to the Performance of Grade 4 Learners at Bagong Silang Elementary School. The researcher used a Random sampling technique and prepared the respondent’s profile, problems at the same time to get an accurate data by using survey questionnaire. To learn more about the topic, the researchers will develop the instruments for the study based on their reading of relevant books, articles, and studies and they will also consult the internet.

Most of the respondents used laptops, and the respondents were mostly female and between the ages of 20 and 30. Most responders have low middle class incomes. Most responders work as teachers II. Additionally, most of the responders have been working for close to 3-5 years. The results showed that teaching physical education online has a very high impact on student performance in terms of both individual and group performance as well as instructor factor.

The pandemic's consequences on education are having a negative impact on learning. The crisis is harming current education, which lowers opportunities for many more people. Assist those people, children, and teenagers who are most underprivileged in continuing their education. Online classrooms can offer useful and interesting electives through online classrooms.

This means that in terms of teacher factors in teaching physical education using online modality are concerned in Teaching style in online modality and teacher skill and expertise. In accordance with Willkomm, (2020) defines online learning as the creation of a preset course framework on a learning management system (LMS) prior to the beginning of a semester. The teacher employs a range of internet- accessible devices to aid learning and encourage active interaction from the pupils even when they are geographically apart during lessons. (Llego 2022).
