Abstract

Teachers impart knowledge and skills to students, and with the integration of technology and
the establishment of research in a modernizing society, research-based instruction is
increasingly important. Studies show that research-based teaching can improve students'
academic and social development. However, using this method can present difficulties. The
biggest obstacle is the requirement for continued professional growth and assistance.
Teachers require continued professional growth, access to training, resources, and support
from their school to successfully integrate these techniques.

According to the findings, the influence of research-based instruction on academic
achievement and social behavior was observed to differ depending on their academic strands
and lesson contents. Nonetheless, the respondents achieved good to excellent academic
performance and experienced improvements in their social behavior. The study identified
financial constraints in acquiring necessary materials, tools, and technology, which is a
significant challenge. The respondents suggested implementing electronic learning, providing
clear instructions and guidance from teachers, and seeking student feedback to enhance
research-based instruction and foster global competitiveness.

Teachers are advised to consider their students' suggestions to enhance their academic
performance, help them regulate their social conduct, and foster a sense of self-motivation to
thrive in a multifaceted global setting.
