Abstract

This study will focus on four kinds of incentives; one of the well-known fast food here in the
Philippines is McDonald’s. McDonald’s Trinoma branch started to operate and serve Filipino
people in 2000. The Owner of McDonald’s Trinoma branch is Mr. Kenneth Yang, and the
General Manager is Mr. Ronald Gregorio; there are fifty (50) employed crews in their store. In
addition, the McDonald’s Trinoma branch, Quezon City, offers Four (4) kinds of incentives,
which are Monthly Incentives, 20 % discount, Free meals, and Service Incentive Leave with
Pay. The current issue is how influential the incentives are to the performance of the crews in
McDonald’s Trinoma branch, Quezon City.

The fifty selected crews are from McDonald’s Trinoma branch employees in Quezon City; in
the gathered data of the respondent’s demographic profile, sixty percent of them are male,
thirty percent are female, while the remaining ten percent belong to others in terms of gender.
In the crew station, sixty percent belong to the service area and forty percent to the production
area. The problem encountered by the crew is the transparent qualification for the crew
recognition program, which is the least influential.

The results demonstrate that providing a specific policy of incentives is more influential for the
performance of McDonald’s crews in the Trinoma branch, Quezon City. In addition, adding
more incentives with minimal tasks given by the General Manager will be more likely to
provide a good performance output. It will give the crew at McDonald’s Trinoma branch the
motivation to be more excellent performance and more achievable incentives.
