Abstract

The purpose of this study is to assess the male and female respondents on the level of
effectiveness of the store policies in Korean 199 in terms of information dissemination, level
of understanding, and frequency of violation.
The results of this study reveal that the majority of the respondents of Korean 199 are aged
21-25, and most are single and unemployed. Then, this study reveals an assessment of the
two groups of respondents on the effectiveness of the store policies in Korean 199 in terms
of information dissemination, level of understanding, and frequency of violation, which are
“moderately effective.” The barriers encountered by the customers “Customers are shy to
communicate their objection with the store’s crew”, “Clear description and implementation of
No-left over policy and no take- out policy” and Inadequate orientation of the policy at the
store ordering point.
Based on the study, the researcher came up with the following discussion: 1. Korean 199
should give attention to marketing the business in ages 15 and below and 36 and above
because they already established their market in ages 16-35 years, in order to expand the
scope of the business.2.The store should consider add posters and clear explanation of the
policy within the store and contemplate more on gender, civil status and employment status
of the customer.3.Store policies need to be firm in terms of the information dissemination,
level of understanding and violations. Policies need to be disseminated understandably upon
the ordering point. 4. The store crew needs to be open and politely answer questions or
objections referred by the customers about the store policies and other matters. 5. Provide a
policy regarding the dissemination of the policy with the purpose of awareness of the
customer and avoiding certain objections. And provide an enhancement of the store policies.
